As a representative tourist destination in Korea, Busan is famous for its various tourist attractions. You can enjoy a vacation at a hotel with a splendid appearance along Haeundae Beach, or you can find various restaurants such as pork soup, wheat noodles, and seafood that have been introduced in various media. However, the place I will introduce this time is Huinnyeoul Village in Yeongdo, which shows a charm that is quite different from the image of Busan we have seen so far.

Yeongdo Huinnyeoul Village got its name because the streams of water flowing down from the foot of Mt. Bongnae look like white snow falling. It is also a famous location for movie lawyers and crimefighters, and now, thanks to the efforts of the villagers, it has been renovated to look much fresher than what we saw in the movie.


If you plan to visit Huinnyeoul Village by using your own car, use the parking lot in the Sinseon 3 dong public parking lot located behind Sinseon Middle School. The fee is only 100 won per 10 minutes, and the maximum daily fee is only 2,400 won. Not only is the price affordable, but you can visit Huinnyeoul Cultural Village just a short walk from the parking lot, so accessibility is excellent.

After parking, let's immediately turn to Huinnyeoul Jeom Jeomppang. Jeomppang means shop in Busan dialect. Huinnyeoul Jeomppang is a small store run by the residents of Yeongdo, selling toast and ramen. Although the store was remodeled to operate a restaurant, the basic structure retains its past, making it a place sufficient to feel the retro charm.


We visited about 15 minutes before opening, but unfortunately the wait took place right in front. One thing to note is that since this is a space run by villagers, the rotation of dishes is very slow. If you put down your impatient mind for a while and observe the surrounding scenery, your turn will come.

 

 

 

The representative menu of Huinnyeoul Jeom Jeomppang is instant ramen. To clarify my opinion as a ramen expert, it looked like ramen boiled with Anseongtangmyeon as a base. A slightly sweet taste is added, and toppings include boiled egg, green onion, mushroom, and oden. The taste itself is nothing special, just delicious ramen. However, if it blends with the atmosphere of this place, the moment of eating this ordinary delicious ramen will come as a pretty exciting moment. Looking at the sea of ​​Yeongdo reflected through the window in an interior that seems to have gone back to the 1970s, I have a strange feeling that I don't know if this is Busan now, or where in a distant country where the sun is warm.

The second representative menu of Huinnyeoul Village is old toast. This is also the kind of toast with a strong ketchup taste that we ate a lot when we were young. However, this should not be underestimated. The harmony of eggs, ham, and ketchup in toast is a taste that intuitively stimulates our tongue, and it is a very craving taste.

 

 

 

After having a delicious meal at White Yeoul Jeom Bread, let's take a look around. Various shops that stimulate our nostalgia are waiting for us here. There is a shop that sells various character goods such as Disney, Studio Ghibli, and Pokemon. We bought two of these dainty bracelets, and we are very satisfied with them, and we use them every time we go on a trip.

 

In addition, Yeongdo Bongrae Mountain is a place where many cats live, and there are many shops selling cat goods. It is also an interesting point to feel the charm of cats while looking at various goods expressed by unique artists with their own senses.
