The place to introduce now is Enoteca Gusto, located in Jeonpo-dong, Seomyeon, Busan. The name is seriously difficult, so we visited several times, but now we are just starting to remember the name. If you plan to visit Enoteca Gusto, be sure to make a reservation before going. Because the number of guests is managed through 100% reservation, you can enjoy wine and food in a more luxurious and calm atmosphere than any other restaurant.

 

If this is your first time trying natural wine, it is recommended to choose one with a weak scent. Natural wine refers to wine made without food additives. Its characteristic is that it has a slightly thick scent, which may be a bit difficult for first-time users. However, it is not bad to try natural wine now that interest in healthy food is increasing. Moreover, because natural wine smells go away quickly, one bottle of wine can give you the feeling of eating two wines. Personally, the wine I recommend for first-time drinkers is le raisin a plume. It is a natural orange- flavored wine that is different from the wines we usually encounter on the market.

 

 

Personally, I felt that Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers of the Shiraz family also had a clean taste. This red wine made by French winery M. Chapoutier is not too heavy or has strong tannins, so it goes well with various dishes.

The biggest strength of Enoteca Gusto is the food, no matter what. As a restaurant run by the master alone, the quality of food is kept constant. In particular, it is no exaggeration to say that the potato gnocchi here is really the best. You won't find gnocchi of this quality anywhere in Korea at this price. First of all, the food called gnocchi itself is not a popular food, and even if there is a restaurant that sells it, I could not find a house that follows Enoteca Gusto in quality. Enoteca Gusto's gnocchi is made from potato dough and has a very savory taste, and the sauce expresses the unique savory taste of milk. Soft spinach is also very good, and if you eat it, you will see empty plates and bowls in an instant. If you want to eat gnocchi, we recommend calling to secure your portion.

 

 

 

As mentioned above, the menu of Enotega Gusto changes frequently, but this time I tried the lamb rib steak. Basically, I prefer lamb to beef, so I was very satisfied with it. The meat was well grilled, and the carrots served as a side dish were also delicious. One of the two ways to enjoy carrots is to eat them at Enoteca Gusto. (Another one is to eat carrot juice in Jeju Island,,). As an aside, the master provided mint jelly as a service that day, so I ate it with lamb, and this combination also went very well. Refreshing meat jelly catches the greasiness of the lamb.

 

 

These days, you can find various restaurants in Seomyeon on SNS or the Internet, but there are few houses that make you want to visit again. I thought most of the shops were for taking photos for social media because they lack basic skills and most of them are trendy foods. Enoteca Gusto provides quality food than any other restaurant in Seomyeon and is the best restaurant to enjoy wine in a quiet and luxurious atmosphere.
